Legal
translation:
Given my
extensive experience in translating legal texts and excellent knowledge
of the English language, I
am able to offer legal translations to and from Russian. While
Russian is, of course, my native language, my active exposure to the
English language on a day-to-day basis allows me to ensure that the
translations I am offering are always correct and faithful, fully
reflecting all nuances, meaning and style of original text.
Sometimes the fact that a translator may be offering translation
services in two directions, to and from his/her native language, can be
viewed as a negative sign. I am aware of that; nevertheless the
translations I am able to offer will not leave the impression that the
text was translated by a non-native speaker. I believe that the
level of skills that I have and that allow me to translate in both
directions is quite valuable and rare and therefore I am
offering translation of legal
documents from English into Russian and from Russian to English
(US version).
My
previous professional experience involves large translation projects
for high profile legal cases or in support of complex transactions,
including Russian to English.
